Your Dream, Your Choice
"Dreams brings you closer to your destiny."
We have a bunch of choices every single day. Whatever things, foods, or life decisions we want to choose on that moment are part of our daily choices.
You are a dreamer, right? And so I am.
To determine what you want in life is to keep silent, be quite and think over and over. Sometimes, you overthink to the point that you become frustrated and yet exhausted. I feel you. You're not alone.
"Dream what's in your heart and what you desire. Then the choice you've make is what you've get."
Each of us, striving so hard to get what we really want in life. We forget that every single step we take is part of our choices. Be careful to take decision, it will affect to your dream life either in present or in future.
After all, you are the only person will decide, not me, not your family, not your friends. It's your choice. It's in your hand. It's your own will. No one will force you. No blaming or no pointing finger unto someone else. Even you.
Mistakes. Failures. Regrets.
Don't worry. There is HOPE. As I mentioned earlier, you're not alone. You have me. I'll be with you (Just like what God said to me). I'll be with you no matter what happen.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a great future."
Yeah, you heard it right. This is exactly true and a huge AMEN. But wait..
I have a question for you.
Did you doubt it? If yes, we're the same. Sometimes, I tempted not believe what God says in His word, the indication is I worried, I became depressed, I doubted..
Everytime I read His word all the negative swipe away and reminiscing those memories that I served the Lord way back 2022 in my umbrella church. It's not easy for me to adjust in a different environment.
I started to be impatience, prayerless and upset. In short, backsliding. Okay that's enough. It's not our main topic today to tell my story.
So am I, I am so called a dreamer. It's sounds familiar.
Is that "Joseph the Dreamer"?.
Yeah, absolutely. Me to him? A lil bit different.
Let's take a look about Joseph's Story from the Bible.
"Joseph was the youngest of twelve brothers and was often treated with disdain by his older siblings. However, he had a gift for interpreting dreams, which proved to be his saving grace. One day, Joseph had a dream in which he saw his brothers bowing down to him. When he shared this dream with his brothers, they became enraged with jealousy and plotted to sell him into slavery."
"Joseph was taken to Egypt, where he was sold to a wealthy man named Potiphar. Despite his lowly status, Joseph worked hard and gained favor with Potiphar, who put him in charge of his household. However, Joseph's fortunes took a turn for the worse when he was falsely accused of seducing Potiphar's wife and thrown into prison."
"Despite his imprisonment, Joseph continued to interpret dreams, and one day he was called to interpret the dreams of the Pharaoh. Joseph told the Pharaoh that his dreams were a warning of an impending famine, and he advised the Pharaoh to store up food in preparation. The Pharaoh was so impressed with Joseph's wisdom that he made him the second-in-command of Egypt."
"When the famine arrived, Joseph's brothers came to Egypt in search of food. They did not recognize Joseph, but he recognized them and decided to test them by accusing them of stealing. Eventually, Joseph revealed his true identity to his brothers and forgave them for selling him into slavery. He helped his family settle in Egypt and became a powerful ruler, revered for his wisdom and his gift of interpretation."
"The story of Joseph teaches us about the power of forgiveness and the importance of staying true to one's gifts and values, even in the face of adversity."
[End of the Story here]
Joseph is a man of dreams. Despite of all the obstacles and difficulties he went through, he done righteous things in the sight of God.
"The Lord is with Joseph."
If you are with God, your dreams will come true. Because character is all matter. Joseph's character is molded by his siblings and other situations in Potiphar's household.
Joseph chose his dreams instead of losing them. Despite of all unfavored situations he went through, he favored by God.
We learned a lot by Joseph's life experience. If you have a dreams or visions in life. Let them see with your own eyes. I believe in the end of the day, you're the only person who will choose your dream despite of the walls that hinders you. Remember, "The Lord is with you."
